questions on raindrops

This morning it rained so I grabbed Agnes (my camera) and an umbrella and headed outside.

 Wet flowers and leaves fascinate me. 

The water drops hold mysteries of light. Who can fathom the precise delineation of liquid from air within their domed skin?
When droplets hover on knife-edge over the abyss, who decides the instance of their falling? 
And where has the artist signed the wet rose?
