becoming

Look at this bud. Something about it is so hopeful. One day it will bloom into the beautiful blossom it was meant to be, but to me it's lovely already, bursting with its glistening fuzzy promise. It's so easy for me to be enchanted by the natural world and by the beauty of other people. I don't mean their looks, but their heart beauty. I can believe in my friends and family completely, but find it easy to second guess myself, worrying whether I'll end up being all God wants me to be in the end. But I think through this picture God is teaching me to see myself through His eyes as something precious that is in the process of becoming exactly what it was created to be.
